I've spent
my life in hospitality.
From some of my earliest memories through to building businesses of my own, hospitality has always been a huge part of my life.
What I enjoy most now is helping other people bring their ideas to life, solve problems and build something they're proud of.

School and I never really got on. I struggled with glue ear when I was young and spent much of my time being labelled as the naughty kid rather than someone who couldn't hear properly. By the time I could leave school, I was ready to move on.
Catering college was a different story.
For the first time, I found something that clicked. I spent three years studying whilst working full-time in restaurants and hotels.
And I loved it.
Over the years I worked across restaurants, bars and hotels, originally thinking I'd become a chef. Somewhere along the way, I realised I was drawn to the front-of-house side of hospitality. The atmosphere, the service and the experience people had from the moment they walked through the door.
My love of hospitality started long before I worked in it.
When I was growing up, my mum regularly hosted dinner parties. I loved everything about them. Helping get things ready, seeing people arrive, hearing the chatter from downstairs as I drifted off to sleep and the smell of food coming from the kitchen.
There was something special about the atmosphere. The way food, drink and good company brought people together.
From a young age, I knew hospitality was where I wanted to be.

My story

I've had a few detours along the way. Insurance. Personal training. Even a brief spell teaching children. Every time, I found myself being pulled back towards hospitality.
I had a rule - when I stopped learning, it was time to move on.
The goal was always the same: one day I'd have a place of my own.
That journey eventually led me to a restaurant in Stevenage, where I was given the opportunity to manage the business and develop new ideas. It was there that I started testing concepts that would later become Bohemia.
It's also where I met Ash (Bohemia’s co-founder).
After years of building, refining and learning, we found the perfect spot in St Neots and launched Bohemia together. We took on the original refurbishment ourselves and opened the doors just a couple of months after getting the keys.
Looking back, every role, every mistake and every detour taught me something.
Today, I bring those lessons into the work I do with other hospitality business owners. Helping people shape ideas, solve problems and build something they're proud of.
My story, in 40 seconds

Honest Perspective
Sometimes you need someone to tell you you're on the right track. Sometimes you need someone to challenge an idea before it becomes an expensive mistake.
Either way, you'll always get an honest opinion based on experience (not ego).
Practical Support
I don't believe in overcomplicating things.
Whether we're talking about a new concept, a venue layout, service flow or staff training, my focus is always on finding practical solutions that work in the real world.
Hospitality First Thinking
Good hospitality should feel effortless for the customer and workable for the team behind the scenes.
Every suggestion I make comes back to creating better experiences, stronger operations and businesses that people genuinely enjoy spending time in.
How I work
Every business is different, but my approach tends to stay the same.
I believe in honest conversations, practical support and keeping hospitality at the centre of every decision.
I know how much time, energy and emotion goes into building a hospitality business. I also know how easy it is to become too close to it.
That's why I enjoy helping people talk things through, spot opportunities they may have missed and move forward with confidence.
There's nothing better than seeing someone create a business they're proud of and knowing you've played a small part in helping them get there.

What I enjoy the most
I've always loved hospitality, but these days one of the things I enjoy most is helping other people on their journey.
There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing an idea develop from a conversation into a real business.
Sometimes it's helping someone shape a concept they've been thinking about for years.
Sometimes it's helping them work through a challenge that's been keeping them awake at night.
Sometimes it's simply being another perspective when a big decision needs to be made.

Let's talk things through.
Whether you're exploring a new idea, planning a launch, looking to improve an existing business or simply want another perspective, I'd love to hear what you're working on.
You don't need a finished plan.
You don't need all the answers.
Just tell me a little about where you're at and we can talk it through.
